I can’t wait to make these
It’s another day at the beach on Crafts ‘n Coffee, as we share tutorials for crafting a Seashell Topiary and Seashell Deco Spheres. I love to walk on the beach, enjoying the surf and collecting shells. But, once you’re back at home, what do you do with all of the shells you’ve collected? Follow our tutes by designer Kathleen George to create your own custom seashell accessories that keep the beach close at hand.
Here’s what you need to make a Seashell Topiary:
- STYROFOAM Brand Foam: 15″ x 5″ cone (or size of your choice)
- Assorted seashells, 5-10 cups
- Tools: Low-temp glue gun and glue sticks
To make your Seashell Topiary:
1. Starting with the larger shells, use a glue gun to add the first layer of shells to the foam cone. You’ll use more, larger shells around the base, and fewer shells near the top.
